	COMMERCIALS / SPOT PRODUCTION:

		HOWDY HONDA "Earth Zoom In" Editing, Motion Graphics / Animation, Graphics, Original Music Composition/Performance. Our client wanted an animated zoom in from space, which we accomplished with 3D animation and special effects. The graphic design in the spot matches the architecture of this new facility. Original orchestral music score gives this a bold and uplifting feel for the client's new dealership and location. • Click Image •

		MEYERSON LAW FIRM "We Don't Sleep" Editing, Motion Graphics / 3D & 2D Animation, Graphics, Original Music Composition/Performance. Our client wanted an animated spot that was eye-catching. We designed a 3D lawbook library where the books fly out and one opens to reveal iconic 2D line animated scenes. This spot was also made in Spanish. Original orchestral music score. • Click Image •

		AUSTIN AUCTION GALLERY "Buyers" Editing, Motion Graphics, Animation, Graphics, Voice. This client needed to show the variety of items they offer in auction and indicate that they obtain inventory from around the world. We made an animated globe with glows over various market countries, along with an animated "strip" of auction items. • Click Image •

		TAYLOR WOODROW HOMES Editing, Rotoscoping & Cleanup. A high-end developer spot (total budget aprox. $45,000), shot on 35mm film. David did the edit, but also had to rescue the "hero shot" that opens the spot. There was only one take of it, and there were white flecks all through the shot. These were meticulously removed, one by one. Also, the doorway shot had a person visible through the glass, who was rotoscoped out of the shot, frame by frame.• • Click Image •

		TOKYO STEAK HOUSE "Kidzilla" Concept, Editing, 3D Design & Modelling, Layout, & Character Animation; Studio shoot; Compositing. 3D Character animation done in Lightwave, composited with graphics and live actors. Kidzilla began as a simple drawing on the client's business card. We brought him to life – terrorizing the streets of Tokyo . . . or is it Austin? Maybe he just wants some sushi! This spot took over 50 hours to create. • Click Image •

		CHINA STAR "Kung Fu Luncheon" Editing, Motion Graphics / Special Effects, Graphics, Voice We had some fun with poking fun at old martial arts movies, while promoting a martial arts school within this restaurant commercial. Sometimes, you DON'T want accurate lip-sync! • Click Image •

			ROGER BEASLEY MAZDA "Austin Heritage" Editing, Motion Graphics / Special Effects, Graphics. This long-time Austin auto dealership wanted to show their connection to the city with nostalgic images from the way Austin "used to be" along with icons like the UT tower and the Capitol. This worked hand-in-hand with the new soft country jingle. • Click Image •

FLOOR KING-CARPET ONE "If Your Floors Could Talk"

This humorous concept spot has been customized for several regional markets. Sometimes, the simplest ideas work the very best!

		TOKYO STEAK HOUSE "Ahhhhh" Editing, Motion Graphics, Graphics. This spot won a BRONZE TELLY AWARD We ran a Japanese voice-over and put sub-titles in English. The chef at the end gave us such a wonderful "Ahhhh," that we decided to quote him literally! • Click Image •

What's better during a hot summer than an indoor ice skating rink? This new rink just opened and we did the honors with animated snow and even snow drifts on some of the graphic logos!

TIME WARNER CABLE "Movies In The Park"

This spot promoting free, family oriented outdoor movie presentations, ran for five years during the summer season. Characters designed and animated in Lightwave.

LONGHORN KIDS CLUB "Lil' Bev" (for Little Bevo - a version of the U.T. mascot)
Editing, 2D Animation, Motion Graphics / Graphics.

This character drawing needed to be brought to life in a fun spot that would attract kid's attention. "Lil' Bev" appears here over 3D lighting and backgrounds done in After Effects, adding interest and depth for the flat 2D character in front.

Hungry? This colorful restaurant needed a colorful spot with animated graphics. It tastes good, too!

CANADA RECONNECT "Meet Bill"
Editing, Graphics.

One of a series of spots we edited for the pre-paid phone industry. These ran in all provinces of Canada along with other versions for the entire U.S. market. This outdoor nighttime blizzard scene was shot on film in Vancouver on a sound stage, with a snow crew.
